The Wedding Vase is one of the most recognized forms in Southwestern pottery, its double spouts joined by a bridge representing the shared breath and life of two people becoming one. Molly Goldtooth renders it here in clean white sand against a warm tan background, the body decorated with black and turquoise geometric patterns and framed by flowing waves of deep red, each grain applied by hand.

No two are exactly alike, which is the nature of the work. The matte, slightly raised surface has a presence that a print simply cannot replicate, and the symbolism makes it a natural gift for weddings, anniversaries, or anyone who appreciates the tradition behind the object.

  • Authentic Navajo sand painting by Molly Goldtooth
  • Motif: double-spouted wedding vase with geometric accents
  • Natural sand and mineral pigments on tan background
  • Dimensions: 3 in H x 2 in W
  • Weight: approx. 0.5 oz

Handle with care. Keep dry and out of direct sunlight to preserve the natural sand colors. Slight variations in color and texture are natural and expected.

Molly Goldtooth is a Navajo (Dine) artist from the Southwest, known for her sand paintings that carry traditional Southwestern symbols through natural materials and handcrafted technique.
