The Thunderbird is one of the most powerful symbols in Southwestern and Native American tradition, and this version captures it mid-dive, wings swept back in a sharp V, tail fanning wide in a bold triangular spread. Every feather surface is deeply engraved in rope-twist texture, and the inlay runs across both wings in diagonal bands of turquoise, lapis, opal, sugilite, and spiny oyster orange, with a bold triangular fan of sugilite, opal, and gaspeite filling the upper wing section. The beak is a sharp silver point, the body is polished silver, and the whole piece has a dynamic energy that reads clearly even at a distance. The back is stamped OP and .925, and the large rectangular bail at the top fits any standard chain.
At 2.16 inches tall it has real presence on the chest, as the wear shot shows. The multi-stone composition is fixed, one bird, all stones, every color working together the way OP intended. A piece with genuine cultural weight behind it, not just a decorative bird.
