Navajo Sterling Silver Large Bic Lighter Case with Red Coral

James Martin made this large Bic lighter case the same way he makes his jewelry, starting with solid sterling silver and working it by hand until it's something worth keeping. The front is built around a repoussé floral center, a dimensional silver blossom ringed by scrolls and leaf-work, with two genuine red coral stones set in serrated bezels anchoring the design. Sunburst and scalloped hand-stamping finish the borders, a detail that shows up consistently in Martin's work.

Because each case is made individually, the coral varies naturally in tone and shape, and the hand-stamping shifts slightly from piece to piece. That's not a flaw, it's the point. It fits a standard large Bic and turns something disposable into something you'll actually hold onto.
