This desert landscape outlet cover is a close sister to the classic mesa and agave design, sharing the same warm sandy ground, twin mesa buttes in amber and dark brown, vivid turquoise sky, and two soaring birds above the horizon. What sets this one apart are the scattered red dot clusters that float above the teal agave plants in the foreground, like wild berries or desert wildflower blooms drifting through the air. The red dots add a softer, more whimsical quality to the composition, giving the familiar desert scene a touch of unexpected color and life. The teal agave plants fan outward from dark brown earth mounds at the base, framing the lower outlet opening with their radiating fronds.
Each cover is made on a standard white plastic duplex outlet plate and fits any standard US duplex outlet. The sand painting is sealed for durability. Because each piece is made by hand using traditional Navajo sand painting techniques by artist Molly Goldtooth, no two covers are exactly alike, and slight variations in color and detail are part of what makes each one a one-of-a-kind work of art.
