This is the most cinematic and painterly outlet cover in the collection, a sweeping canyon landscape rendered in extraordinary detail on a standard duplex plate. Bold black silhouette cliffs rise on both sides of the composition, framing a warm amber and golden canyon floor that glows between them. At the top, a vivid turquoise sky fades into amber at the horizon line, with three birds soaring in silhouette across the open air. A wind-bent tree clings dramatically to the top of the left cliff, its branches swept sideways as if caught in a canyon breeze. The entire lower half of the plate is filled with a dense, rhythmic forest of black silhouette pine trees marching across the amber canyon floor, their pointed tops creating a strong, graphic pattern that anchors the whole composition. The warm sandy ground of the sand painting serves as the natural background, adding depth and texture throughout.
