A handcrafted Navajo etched pottery bowl by Ben Billy, signed BWL Muyu on the base. Formed from red clay in a wide open bowl form with a broad flat rim, low rounded body, and a generously wide open mouth, this piece is decorated in the traditional Navajo scraped and etched style. A sage green-gray slip covers the flat rim and upper shoulder, blending into a rich cobalt blue across the main body. Bold vertical etched line scoring with small arrow and chevron tick marks runs through the full decorated zone, revealing the warm terracotta clay beneath in a striking geometric pattern. The base is covered in the same gray-blue slip. Warm terracotta interior visible through the wide open mouth.
