This is one of the most architecturally precise and culturally resonant baskets in the collection. Pale natural straw dominates the surface, with a wide, bold terracotta orange ring occupying the middle zone, framed on both edges by clean teal accent lines that give it a crisp, finished look. In the outer natural straw field, four large teal stepped geometric shapes repeat at the cardinal points, each one built from precise stair-step lines that echo the cloud and mesa motifs found throughout Southwestern and Indigenous design traditions. The combination of the warm terracotta ring and the cool teal step shapes creates a beautiful tension between warm and cool, bold and precise.
Handwoven in Pakistan by skilled artisans using traditional coil techniques, this basket has one of the deepest and most generous bowl profiles in the entire collection, visible dramatically from the side, making it as functional as it is beautiful. It works equally well as a large fruit bowl, a decorative catch-all, or a statement wall piece. The braided natural rim gives it a clean, finished edge. Each basket is individually handwoven, so slight variations in color and pattern are part of its handmade character.
