This large, airy coil basket has a quiet elegance to it. Rust sienna and slate gray sweep through the design in bold, fluid sections that rotate around a wide natural straw center, but because natural straw dominates the composition, the overall feel is light and open rather than heavy or graphic. The rust and slate sections provide just enough contrast to give the design movement and depth without overwhelming the warm, neutral ground. The result is a basket that feels both sophisticated and effortless, at home in a modern farmhouse, a desert-modern living room, or a minimalist gallery wall.
Handwoven in Pakistan by skilled artisans using traditional coil techniques, this is one of the larger baskets in the collection, with a very wide, flat profile visible from the side and a pronounced dome on the back. The braided natural rim gives it a clean, finished edge. Each basket is individually handwoven, so slight variations in color and pattern are part of its handmade character.
