Hand-Carved Olive Wood Five-Decade Rosary

Fifty-nine hand-turned olive wood beads, strung on a dark knotted cord with traditional spacers between each decade. The beads are polished smooth and the grain does the rest, warm honey tones and deep marbled brown veins running differently through each one. At the end, a solid wooden Latin cross, 1.77" tall, clean and minimalist, letting the wood speak without any added ornamentation.

At 22" total length and 2 oz it has real weight in the hand without being heavy. The olive wood absorbs the natural oils from your skin as you pray, which actually helps preserve it over time. Each rosary is slightly different because each bead comes from a different section of the branch.
