The dove shape is simple and immediately recognizable, but the detail inside is what makes this one worth a closer look. Carved into the heart of the bird is an open-work nativity silhouette, Mary and Joseph kneeling by the manger beneath the Star of Bethlehem, cut all the way through so light passes through the scene. The top edge keeps the original dark bark of the olive branch intact, a live-edge detail that grounds the polished honey-toned wood with something raw and natural.
At 2.49" tall it's compact but not small in presence. The marbled grain of the olive wood runs differently through every piece, so the brown veining and warm tones will be unique to yours. Pre-drilled hole at the top for a string or hook.
Wipe occasionally with a soft cloth and a small drop of olive oil to keep the grain vibrant.
