Crafted from the fine cream white clay characteristic of Acoma Pueblo pottery, the chunky upright penguin form is covered in crisp geometric Southwestern designs painted in black, rust terracotta red, and white. The face features a painted rust red beak with two small nostril dots and a detailed eye with lash accents. The hollow base is signed Mickey / Acoma in black ink.
