The Eagle Kachina is one of the most revered figures in Pueblo tradition, representing strength, vision, and the connection between the earth and the sky. This 6-inch figure is handcrafted by Jacida and DeWayne Loley of Shiprock, New Mexico, with hand-painted detail and a detachable mask that can be removed and held on its own. The feather and textile accents are applied by hand, giving the figure a presence that photographs don't fully capture.
The eagle holds a place of deep respect across many Southwestern and Native American traditions, and this doll reflects that through the care put into every painted detail. Because each piece is made entirely by hand, colors and markings will vary slightly, making yours one of a kind.
