This 3-inch Warrior Kachina is handcrafted by Jacida and DeWayne Loley, artists from Shiprock, New Mexico. The Warrior Kachina is one of the most powerful and commanding figures in Pueblo tradition, representing strength, courage, and the protection of the community. Each doll is shaped and painted by hand, with bold markings, a strong stance, and feather and textile accents that reflect the ceremonial regalia of a protector spirit.
In Pueblo culture, Warrior Kachinas serve as guardians, called upon to defend the people and maintain order during ceremonies. This figure carries a sense of authority and resolve that makes it a meaningful addition to any collection.
