This 3-inch Priest Killer Kachina is handcrafted by Jacida and DeWayne Loley, artists from Shiprock, New Mexico. One of the most historically significant figures in Pueblo tradition, the Priest Killer Kachina is rooted in the Pueblo Revolt of 1680, when Pueblo peoples rose up against Spanish colonial rule. The figure carries a powerful presence, representing resistance, sovereignty, and the enduring strength of Pueblo culture. Each doll is shaped and painted by hand with bold, striking markings and feather and textile accents that reflect its ceremonial weight.

This is a piece with real historical depth, meaningful to collectors and those drawn to the living history of the Southwest. Because each one is made by hand, colors and details will vary slightly, making yours one of a kind.
